Named for Attock, where the Indus narrows and the old frontier road crosses it. Attaro is the belt for everything that is not a suit.

A wider, heavier strand with the grain left open, so the surface keeps the pull and texture of the hide instead of being sanded flat. The aged brass frame dulls down with wear rather than staying shiny, and the tip is cut to a long point.

Edges are sealed black. The buckle unsnaps. It will look better in two years than it does in the box.

Wipe weekly with a dry cloth. Condition every three to four months with a neutral balm - thin circles, twenty minutes, then buff. If it gets wet, blot rather than rub, stuff it to hold its shape and dry away from heat.

Scratches, darkening and softening are not damage. On full-grain leather they are the whole point.
